RELIGULOUS EARLY REACTION on You Tube and TAKING OF PELHAM ONE TWO THREE has release date!

Check Out this review of RELIGULOUS from a guy who caught an early look at the Traverse City Michigan film Festival last week. VIEW REVIEW. After hearing his reaction there’s no doubt this BILL MAHER documentary on religion is just starting to heat up. I also attached A CLIP from the MSN website that speaks for itself. Religulous opens in October.

Director Tony Scott is currently in production on the remake of the terrific 1974 thriller, THE TAKING OF PELHAM ONE TWO THREE. It hits theaters JULY 17, 2009. Denzel Washington and John Travolta star and James Gandolfini co-stars as the Mayor of NYC. HERE’S a LINK to the 1974 film original trailer.

A look back at EYES WIDE SHUT!

While I haven’t revisited the film since I saw it in a theater back in 1999, I got a chance to re-watch the late STANLEY KUBRICK’S last film, EYES WIDE SHUT, on Universal’s HD channel over the weekend. I had the same reaction to it as I did back then. It’s a fascinating movie that features some of the best work in Tom Cruise’s career. The psychosexual thriller, which also costars Cruise’s ex wife Nicole Kidman, is an absorbing and highly interesting piece of movie-making by one of Hollywood’s most gifted directors. I love the way it captured the underbelly of NYC at night through the eyes of Cruise’s doctor character. There’s something about it that’s really hypnotic.

Both Universal HD and the HDNETM are must-watch channels and I look forward to catching all their programming. Here’s a LINK to the upcoming schedules.
