UNIVERSAL has Released a second full length trailer to LAND OF THE LOST
After viewing this new trailer there’s little doubt and Will Ferrell and crew have turned the popular but cheesy 70’s Sat morning sci-fi adventure show, Land of the Lost, into a full blown comedy that doesn’t begin to take any of the material seriously. While I’m hearing that the film is good I have mixed feelings about taking a concept that was not a comedy and playing it strictly for laughs. Starsky and Hutch is an example of a film I hated because Ben Stiller did the same thing with that show as Ferrell is doing here. Still, I understand this isn’t Shakespeare so I’ll have an open mind. The effects do look pretty good. Land of the Lost hits theaters June 5, 2009. Take a LOOK
