American Reunion trailer

As soon as I saw the first scene in this trailer I knew they got this right. This will be a funny movie. The newest installment in the American Pie franchise brings back the entire cast of the original and they look in fine form with  Jason Biggs, Allyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eugene Levy up to their old tricks.

I’m a fan of this franchise and look forward to seeing this film when it hits theaters April 6, 2012.

Newly commissioned Dawn of the Dead (1978) poster

With AMC’s The Walking Dead series emerging as a huge hit for the cable network, zombies appear to be more popular than ever.

It’s no secret that I love this stuff and think The Walking Dead is one terrific piece of television. Having said that, I still believe the greatest Zombie movie is George Romero’s 1978 masterpiece Dawn of the Dead. It truly is the Gone with the Wind of horror. Check out this really cool, newly commissioned, poster.
