Never Met a Zombi I Didn’t Like…

Trailer to AMC’s zombie extravaganza, The Walking Dead

AMC has announced that it will premiere Frank Darabont’s The Walking Dead, with the 90-minute first installment at 10PM on Halloween, October 31st. Since this is coming from the very talented Darabont (The Mist) I have very high hopes for this new zombie series. It looks really good.

Speaking of Zombies, for those in the Pocono area, the Pocono Community Theater in Stroudsburg will be showing George A. Romero’s Day of the Dead for the film’s 25th Anniversary on Saturday, Sept 25th. Actor Gary Klar, who plays Pvt. Steele in the film, will be in attendance and available for autographs after the show. I always loved the movies tagline “The darkest day of horror the world has ever known”. It should be a blast and I’ll certainly be there. Kudos to the Theater’s management, Kim and Scott, for having this great revival showing.
